Mrs. Trupti Karandikar from Mumbai, India is an experienced Counsellor and a Trained Teacher in Counselling for Special Children. She has graduated in Economics and Political Science and is a Post Graduate in Marathi. She has worked for 2 years in Jay Vakil School for Children in Need for Special Care as well as worked for 35 years in Special Children schools in Brihan Mumbai Corporation (BMC). In this tenure, she has conducted various seminars and workshops for the special children and their parents through counselling sessions on topics like Introduction to Mental Retardation, Concept of Special Schools, Counselling Therapies, Parent and Group Counselling, Skilled-based Syllabus, Sexual Development of Special Children and Prevocational Skills.

Trupti is felicitated with the Mumbai Mayor Award for Best Teacher, Navneet Puraskar Award and Best Teacher Visava Charitable Trust Award in 2002 and also holds the State Award for Best Teacher in 2013. We are grateful to have such an experienced figure in the field of counselling and teaching as an Associate.

Mrs. Vaidehi Gadre from Mumbai, India is an experienced Psychologist having a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a Post-graduate in Marathi Literature. She has an overall experience of over 35 years and has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for more than 10 years in Meera Vidyalaya, School for Special Children, Matunga, Mumbai. She has assisted immensely in creating the study pattern for these special children. Vaidehi has conducted various seminars and workshops and delivered lectures for children and their parents in her tenure. She is presently appointed as one of the Executive Members of Managing Committee at Pragati Kendra, Matunga, Mumbai. She is an immense help as an Associate in the field of clinical and counselling psychology.

Dr. Sanjeevani Kelkar is a practicing Doctor in the drought prone area of Sangola, Solapur District, Maharashtra, India for 35 years and is the first and the only lady doctor for so many years in this area. This practice was an eye opener for her about the life style of women in rural areas. With empathy and concern for these women and their children, she founded an organization named ‘Mata Balak Utkarsha Pratishtan’ and started working for the empowerment of rural women and quality education for rural students since 1978 with the help of like-minded women. She worked immensely for the physical and mental health of the women along with training them for vocational and life skills. Sanjeevani Tai has struggled for the injustice and atrocities against these women through a counselling centre at Sangola approved by the State Government of Maharashtra since 1990. Later, she formed self-help groups which aimed in teaching these women about financial independence and environmental literacy through motivation and boosting their self-esteem since 1995. She also has been running a school for children from kindergarten to grade 10 since 1983 giving quality education based on contextual relevance, equity, child friendly atmosphere, sustainability and balanced thinking.

Sanjeevani Tai is felicitated with more than 25 prestigious awards including the Maharashtra State Government’s Savitari Bai Phule Award, YCM’s University Rukmani Award, Karve Women’s University Award and many more.
