Psychometric testing and assessments mostly involve a detailed counselling session with the parents, and also the administration of standardized tests of various different cognitive and academic skills which measure the child’s intellectual and cognitive thinking. They attempt to determine through future training, some specific set of skills like their verbal, numerical, mechanical, and so on.
Personality tests (all age groups) - sometimes children or adults aren’t able to express their thoughts or feelings during a talk with the counsellor or therapist. So, these projective tests help to express them. These are reliable and valid for the therapist to interpret them easily; they can intervene later through therapy.

Career guidance and counselling - The choice of an education career is a crucial problem for every child. In the presence of the variety of fields available, it becomes a difficult task to study each in relation to a particular individual for finding out those which are most suitable. Therefore, career guidance and counselling help children to choose a career. Career counselling assess four major areas to help them to understand their intellectual, aptitude, personality and interest, thereby helping them to make an informed choice with respect to their career. Children who are appearing or have appeared their SSC and HSC examinations are guided about choosing their career choices by help of the psychometric testing and career counselling. Career options that are most likely to suit the child’s intelligence, aptitude, personality and interest may be suggested, based on the test results obtained.
